This document provides at annex a preliminary draft of Passenger Vessel Tender Guidelines for the further consideration of the Sub-Committee
MSC 84/24, MSC 84/22/8 and MSC 84/22/24
1 Paragraph 22.51 of document MSC 84/24 reports that the Committee agreed to include, in the work programmes of the DE, FP, COMSAR, NAV, SLF and STW Sub-Committees, a high-priority item on “Safety provisions applicable to tenders operating from passenger ships”, with three sessions needed to complete the item, assigning the DE Sub-Committee as a coordinator.
2 CLIA notes the list of issues provided in paragraph 13 of document MSC 84/22/8 and has used this as the basis for development of the draft guidelines provided at annex which also take into account current industry best practice.
