Departure of St. Regis Resort to Embarkation of Superyacht
|
|
The most exciting day of the trip is the departure of the resort and the boarding of the yacht. We checked out of the St. Regis at 8:30 a.m. then took the shuttle to the Bora Bora airport dock where we were greeted by a few crew members and a welcome drink. At 10:00 a.m. our luggage was loaded on the yacht motorized tender and we were shuttled out to the yacht, a mere 10 minutes away at anchor. We were welcomed by Capt. Phillipe once again and we were escorted to our cabin 104.

End of Day One on Superyacht
|
|
While I enjoyed my time at the St. Regis, I was really looking forward to the superyacht. The two nicest resorts in Polynesia are the Le Tahaa Resort and Spa and the St. Regis in Bora Bora. The service aboard the Tia Moana is unequaled. There were a total of 10 passengers and about 40 crew - so the crew to passenger ratio is above any cruise you'll ever go on.
