We took a rainforest hike up part of the main ex-volcanic mountain on Nevis. High terrain provides adiabatic cooling, which condenses into clouds and on some islands, will produce rain.

Lunch, as always, was very good. It was served on the mid-top dining deck which is so nice and airy, with good views of the island and ocean. There is a salad bar buffet, and you can also select from an entree menu for a-la-minute selections.

The marina off the back of the ship is usually lowered at anchor. At various times they allow swimming off the back of the ship.
