We dropped anchor at about 9:00 a.m. We tendered in around 9:30 a.m. Next to us was the Club Med 2 tall ship.

After some window shopping in Marigot, we got a $19 cab to the Dutch side of the island. St. Martin is one of the very few Caribbean islands that has full employment. Our cab driver said it is not uncommon to have 2-3 jobs. Tourism is the biggest industry, and the 1995 hurricane media exposure changed it from an American destination to a European destination.

Dinner was served under the stars as it was Caribbean Night. The food was incredible, as always. We split a bottle of Dom Perignon to celebrate our visitor Chris, from Basel, Swizterland.

The ship has a golf simulator on the top deck. I think golf simulators are a waste of ship space, but it provided an afternoon of amusement.
