St. Johns We departed St. Thomas early Monday morning for the 13 mile journey to St. John. We anchored out, off the western shore.
Tender In We checked out some helmets and a lock from reception, then had two folding bikes prepared for us to take to shore.
St. Johns The tender ride in was a rolly 15 minutes. We got on the bikes and started off our venture into the hilly St. Johns National park, to the left of the port. The hills are quite large, and we ended up walking most of the way. The roads are quite narrow, so you have to be very careful and watch for traffic. The Virgin Islands are left-hand driving - just like the Brits.
Camille Bay - Honeymoon Bay After a 30 minute bike ride, we walked into the National Park and went swimming on the sugary white beach.
Back up the Trail Instead of biking back up the long winding road, we opted to hike up the narrow, rocky path, carrying our bikes most of the way.
Balinese Sun tanning Beds After lunch we relaxed on the large Balinese tanning beds on the upper deck.
Captain's Reception Party From 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Main Salon was the Captain's reception party, where the ship staff was introduced.
